Some products are protected by a license key that gets checked against your server (or install) when it starts up. The first server that checks in with a given key becomes bound to it — after that, the same key won't verify on a different server.
This isn't meant to get in the way of normal use, just to stop a key (and the product files with it) being shared or moved somewhere else without you asking. If you're genuinely migrating to a new server, see "Moving a license to a new server" below.
